I hope that everyone is staying warm. I read today that almost 70% of the United States is snow covered including the mountains in Hawaii. I thought that was an interesting fact. All I know is that I've seen enough snow this winter. We are out of built in snow days in our school calender as of today. That means any days missed now will be tacked on at the end of school. I'm praying I won't be going to school in June.....
I wanted to drop by and show you how productive I can be on a snow day.
I finished stitching LHN's Chocolate Box last week but couldn't find time to finish it until today.

I love how it turned out but forgot how hard it is to cut styrofoam.
Does anyone have any tips on cutting styrofoam?
I also want to thank everyone for your kind comments on the birth of Kayci.
Kayci and momma are doing great.
Thank you for stopping by to read my posts. I appreciate you spending part of your busy day with me and it makes me happy to share my cross stitch finishes with you.
Keep on stitchin' on,
Nan

The box is just wonderful! The fabric matches the design perfectly. I have always loved pink and brown together.

I love your finish! The fabric you used is perfect...not sure about the styrofoam. Hope you don't have too many snow days!
I must be the only woman on the planet that doesn't like chocolate - but I love this! The finishing is awseome and the colours are just perfect. What a great piece.
Great stitching on this!! I feel like I can just pick a piece up and toss it in my mouth!
I have not used one, but I have seen these styrofoam cutters that look like a wire saw that heats up. I saw one in Hobby Lobby and considered getting it but chickened out. I don't think it was very expensive.
What an awesome finish!
looks great! love pink/brown combo!
on the styrofoam cutting, i have Doug do it. LOL He uses one of his very sharp elk knives to cut it and it works great.
That looks beautiful !!
Oh, that is just darling! And perfect for Valentine's Day :)
I've heard that electric carving knives work great on cutting styrofoam--never tried it, but...
Oh that's so pretty! :)
I love it!
ohhhhh Juan, that's adorable! Can I trade you for the chart??
That is a great finish! Your hard work shows!!
What a yummy looking finish. I have this chart and the felt in my stash and was just thinking about stitching it today as a gift for a Pal. Your finish has given me that final push to get it stitched. But I am determined to finish the Etui I started in Myrtle Beach. Hope you don't have too many more snow days.

Lovely finish to your box. I enjoyed seeing the baby pictures and the little room sign is too cute.
Love all the charts you've picked out. I think a few are in my stash waiting to be stitched!
